Three storeys above ground including the attic space. Original single storey rear extension now demolished and replaced by rebuilt section of rear facade brickwork plus hipped plain tile canopy over rear entrance doorway. Red brick facades with a paler brick used on the rear elevation. Painted render has been added to the base of the building. Stone lintels, mullions, sills and surrounds to original door and window openings, now painted over. Arched head to main entrance doorway on side elevation combined with stone framed glazed apertures to entrance hall. Moulded brick / terracotta string courses at storey height level. Single storey rectangular window bay plus two storey canted window bay with hipped plain tile roofs on front elevation plus single storey rectangular brick bay with hipped plain tile roof on side elevation adjacent to main entrance doorway. Original window opening on side elevation adjacent to No.8 Peveril Drive has been bricked up and new window openings formed including an attic window on the front elevation gable plus ground floor window on the rear elevation. Much of the original garden area has been lost to car access via a tarmac drive to a rear car parking area. Original brick boundary wall adjacent to Peveril Drive has been replaced with brick piers and railings. Although there have been a number of alterations including partial demolition, the replacement of some original windows, partly rendered facades and the loss of garden area and boundary walls, the main body of the house remains mainly intact and there have been no extensions to the original building.
